Beavercreek Stars July 4th Parade Details

Hello Stars Families,

Please join us as our Stars players and coaches will be walk in the Beavercreek 4th of July Parade this Monday.  All are welcome to participate.  Please wear your uniforms—and if you would like, bring a basketball.  Walking Participants should be dropped off by 5 p.m. at Beaver Vu Road.  Roads will be blocked off at 5:30.  Drop Off point for walkers is at Beaver Vu Road.  The parade lineup is attached.  Beavercreek Stars is #50 in the lineup. Micaela Leonard will be the POC at the drop off point.  Her phone number is 850-240-4947.   It is suggested that you have a family member park at the end (Beavercreek HS) to pick up participants when they finish the parade.

Parking/ Dropping off

If you have walkers/marchers please drop them off at Beaver Vu Road. Please use the parking lot across from Beaver Vu Bowl as drop off point. There will not be a place to turn around. If you are being dropped off by members of your group that are staying to watch the parade, encourage them to park at Beavercreek High School at the end of the parade, so afterward you will save the trip of backtracking.

The parade will travel down Dayton-Xenia Rd. Starting at Meadowbridge to the High School.

Parents will not be able to pick up their children until around 7 in the high school parking lot, please share this with your entire group.

Emergency/Weather Prior to Event

In case of an emergency on July 4th you can contact us at (937) 409-3216. This phone will be on after 2PM on Monday.

 

Please remember that the parade goes on rain or shine, but if for some reason there is severe weather happening, information will be posted on our website: http://www.beavercreekohio.gov/177/Parks-Recreation-Culture. An email will also be sent to the contact person listed on the parade application.

 

Please plan on attending the festivities at Rotary Park after the parade. There will be entertainment, bounce houses, food vendors, children’s activities and fireworks! Fastrax Jump Team will land in Rotary at 7:30pm, At 8 p.m. they will have a police K-9 Demonstration and entertainment will continue until the UES Fireworks show at 10. Systems Go Rock Band will play at 8:30. There will be inflatables, food, and entertainment the entire evening.
